LE COU COU - NYC — Bazil Stander

My last lunch in New York City was one of the most memorable of my USA trip - Le Cou Cou is easily the most charmingly beautiful restaurant I've ever had the pleasure to dine in - the space is so handsome & detailed the jaw drops repeatedly and many glasses of good wine are required to calm the nerves & steady oneself !! Food by celebrated chef Daniel Rose is deeply satisfying & an utterly modern & fresh take on serious french cuisine. If you are in NYC anytime soon this is where you need to eat more than once !!

Big Eye Tuna, Asparagus & Smoked Wood Vinegar / Leeks & Hazelnuts / Whole poached Lobster Tail, Grilled Romaine, Citrus & Sauce Lauris / Chicken & Foie Gras, Roasted Pineapple & Pomme Puree / Poached Rhubarb & Sable Breton !!
